Our story began in 1967, when my father established his reputation in the trade in Liverpool. His career took him far beyond the Northwest, honing his craft on high-stakes projects across London, Europe, and as far afield as Russia. In 1990, he brought that world-class experience to the South Coast, establishing the foundations of what Delamare & Sons is today.

A Modern Apprenticeship, A Timeless Standard

I joined the family business as an apprentice in 2003. Learning the trade from the ground up under my father’s watchful eye, I didn't just learn how to paint—I learned the discipline required to deliver a flawless finish.

While the "Sons" in our name represents a family tradition that includes my father and his brothers, today it stands for the continuity of those high standards. For the last 10 years, I have meticulously refined our working systems to focus exclusively on the high-end market, where "good enough" is never enough.
