Why we evolved into Kitchen Respraying
While traditional decorating will always be part of our heritage, we recognised a growing need for a more sustainable, cost-effective way for Dorset homeowners to renovate. We saw too many high-quality wooden kitchens being ripped out simply because the colour was dated.
We decided to invest in the latest Airless & HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray technology and specialist Italian lacquers to offer a solution: a factory-standard, "new kitchen" finish for a fraction of the cost of a replacement.

How Does It Work?
Step 1: Consultation & Colour Match
We start by discussing your vision. You choose the colour and the sheen level (from dead matt to high gloss). We can colour-match any major brand, including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, or RAL codes. Once you’re happy, we book your transformation date.
Step 2: Removal & Workshop Preparation
On the first day, we carefully remove all doors, drawer fronts, and removable plinths. These are transported to our dedicated spray booth.
The Deep Clean: We use specialist de-greasers to remove years of cooking oils and grease marks.
The Sand: We mechanically sand every surface to create a "key" for the paint to bond to.
Step 3: On-Site Masking (The "Tent")
While your doors are at the workshop, we focus on the fixed items in your kitchen (end panels, cornices, and frames).
We create a "booth" within your kitchen using high-grade masking tape, floor protection, and heavy-duty plastic sheeting.
Your appliances and worktops are 100% protected.
We use professional extraction units to pull any overspray/paint fumes out of the house.
Step 4: The Spraying Process
This is where the magic happens. We apply:
High-Adhesion Primer: A specialist coat that "binds" into the surface to prevent peeling.
Fine-Finish Topcoats: Multiple coats of industrial-grade lacquer, applied using HVLP spray technology for a perfectly smooth, factory grade finish..
De-masking: Once the carcasses are dry, we remove all masking, leaving your kitchen clean and tidy.

Step 5: Re-installation & Quality Check
After the doors have fully cured in our workshop, we return to re-hang them.
We re-align all hinges to ensure doors are perfectly straight.
We fit any new handles if requested.
Final Walkthrough: We walk you through the finished result to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your "new" kitchen.

Typically, a kitchen transformation takes 3 to 5 days. We remove the doors and drawers to spray in our workshop, while the fixed frames are sprayed in your home. This minimizes disruption to your daily life.

Yes. By using professional Airless & HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray equipment and specialist Italian lacquers or high-end coatings (like Renner & Anker Stuy or Tikkurila), we achieve a smooth, factory-grade finish that is impossible to replicate with a brush or roller.

We use industrial-grade coatings specifically designed for high-traffic kitchen use. Once fully cured, the finish is extremely hard-wearing, heat-resistant, and easy to wipe clean. It won't flake or peel like standard retail paint.

You only need to empty the drawers and cupboards if we are spraying the interiors. If we are only spraying the exterior frames and doors, you can leave your items inside—we mask everything off completely to ensure zero overspray.
